Ícaro

Inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus, this sculpture on the banks of the Tinto River pays homage to the flight of the Plus Ultra, the first seaplane to cross the Atlantic in 1926, which departed precisely from La Rábida.

The work, created by the Buenos Aires sculptor Agustín Riganelli, was donated by the Argentinian people in 1929.
