Queen’s Pier

This small pier is presided over by the Monument of Icarus of Triumph, which commemorates the first transatlantic flight carried out by the Plus Ultra seaplane from Palos de la Frontera to Buenos Aires in 1926.

Constructed in 1882 to commemorate the IV Centenary of Columbus’s expedition and inaugurated by Queen María Cristina.
